White on white on gray...

Tom Ford finally changed their windows, adding a few pedestals to showcase the handbag and footwear collections.  The other windows still continue to showcase Tom's latest apparel collection, a little change is that the men and women's mannequins are in the same windows.  Fresh white and classy...

Life is like a box of ...

Dolce and Gabbana's simple little window. Love the textured box, with a play on a box of chocolates but hangbags --  cleaver!!  love the pattern of the box, perfect for the dark tones of the DG stores in general. Pass the box...

Where's the beach?...

Just in time for the beach, Ralph Lauren created fun juvenile windows perfect for their two Children's Stores. Designing with their consumer in mind - fun over-the-top large cut of seas creatures with great detail and sand textures. The coral and fish net props add the perfect balance, that could have gone toward a bad supermarket fish display but did not. And as always adorable little mini RL fashionable outfits... Just add sun!..

Draw the line...

Based of the shapes of geometry, Louis Vuitton creates some eye dazzling displays for Spring.  A great use of color and although simple in nature in a 3D aspect, the movement around the window creates that 3D element.  I do like the use of repetition in the mannequin poses.  Grab your straight ruler...

The stars in the sky...

From their Valentine's display, Tiffany's created a celestial sky of the constellations and incorporating their beautiful jewelry to add a sparkle in the night sky. The simple gold wire to form the mythology images is beautiful and floats with in the window frame ( although hard to see the detail in photographs). Light the sky...

las puertas...

Ralph Lauren creates a beautiful world of a Spanish influenced setting.  A beautiful wrought iron gates creates the centerpiece surrounded by stucco wall and large over sized urns. I wish there was a fountain or a water feature to add a little more texture, especially in one on the smaller side windows.  Las Puertas ( the gates)  grab your passport...

Out in the garden...

Tiffany's creates another miniature masterpiece, out in the garden.  Trellises hold the assorted precious earnings, necklaces, and rings. The details are always amazing; small roses, little seats and the sand on the floor all add to the garden illusion. Each vignette is a different view of the setting; a gazebo; a trellis; a pergola; and against that plain green wood, the sparkle of the jewelry never looked so good. All with out the bugs...!

Aquamarine diamonds...

Simple patterns of aquamarine are the backdrop in these very simple windows from Giorgio Armani.  Nothing too exciting, the patterns do add so interest to the white, grey and black fashion. What a gem...!
