Up the down staircase...

I love this window at Moshino!!  Cleaver, Cleaver Cleaver!!   The staircase, the hanging arms, the footwear, the handbags. The darker lighting helps make the mono-filament disappear and the simple staircase could have been over developed, but it all works perfectly. Hold onto that handrail!!...

Love by chocolate

Old school display at Lindt for Valentine's Day.  Multi levels of product piled, baskets and product under and as hanging banner. Might be old school but always works!!

Hang it up...

Coach creates a simple window: a few coat hooks; a few outfits; add a few handbags - and all equals a simple strong window.  Of course it helps that everything is coordinated.  This is a great way add a some UPT to the mix.  Coach also launches their latest fragrance Coach Love.  Nothing to exciting but a few plasmas playing content - they really could have pulled out a few more elements here, especially adding some bottle or boxes of the fragrance and connect for the Valentine Holiday...

Here comes Peter Cottontail...

The small side Gap store on Fifth Avenue has transformed into it's latest carnation,  Baby Gap's Peter Rabbit collection. The big oversize graphics, the cutouts and the tree branches used as fixtures - all create a wonderful rabbit hole of an adventure...

Swing into it ...

Henri Bendel's window for Valentine's.   A nice showcase for the Spring handbag season. Fun swing to use a prop for the season.  The oversize flowers are a nice touch, however i would love them to be big 3D paper then just a graphic.  Swing into Spring,,,!

Temple of love...

I love this heart themed window at Diane von Furstenburg.  The use of columns and mannequins could have be just a simple window anywhere; but the use of hand drawn hearts as graffiti it an adventure of whimsical creative fun.  I love the different textures, use of pink and the DVF layered in. The graffiti is also used in control, it could have become an overpowering mess. I "heart" this...

"RED"y for the new year...

Burberry also created a window for the Lunar New Year. While staying in the thematic color of Red, nothing in the window really reflects the "snake".  They did have vinyl tag lines on the glass, but i am disappointed with the  "year of the snake" that more retailers did not create a more serpent like theme in their windows.  Not very "striking"...

As "eye" see it ...

The windows on 57th Street on Bergdorf Goodman are a fabulous play with the human eye.  Eye charts, mannequin eyes, glasses, pupils, and spirals all give a creative backdrop for Spring fashion. I love these windows, especially the dotted lines and the play with the eye chart. The shadow boxes with a very cleaver use of panel to form an eye give a great backdrop to fragrance bottles. I'm so glad to see this ...

La Rive Gauche...

Ralph Lauren introducing the Spring Home Collection Left Bank. As noted from the web site: With its refined mix relaxed comfort and industrial conceptualism, the Left Bank collection captures the lifestyle of a creative, contemporary sophisticate.   Love the clean lines, the piles of books, the French artwork. The last three photos are the windows on 72nd Street. I love the little loft with trunks and bedding. Perfect example how to take the consumers from outside the store and connect them to inside the store.  Very French and oh so chic!...

Rock around the clock...

Not know for window displays, Nespresso has a great display for their campaign  Wake Up to the Perfect Coffee. I love the different sizes of clocks piled up and the capsules used for the alarm bells.  With the depth of the display, I wish the vinyl tag was 3D letters to add a little more.  Coffee break!...

Cracked ice...

Simple clean window from David Yurman.  Nothing too exciting, but the "cracked ice" pedestals are realisitic and a nice quality.  On the rocks...

Desert brush...

Fresh window to escape from the winter blah.  Using earth tones, Donna Karen prepares us for Spring. I really like the the desert plants, sand and wood -- pulls the window together and makes it fresh.  The interesting play of a tee pee make of leather strips.  No tumble weeds here ...
