Color blind?

Isn't it funny at Banana Republic with a tag line like "Hello Color" that a mannequin would be dressed in a beige suit against a pale yellow square against a beige wall... just saying...

With a capital P

Sometimes a hit, sometimes a miss. This time a hit. I like the vignette of the loose footwear and handbags. The beach scene has you thinking that she dropped it all to run to the beach. Love the hats with the dresses. and once again some hair!

Miss Dior Chérie

Simple, clean and something that is making a comeback... hair on mannequins. I like the simple cut, nothing exotic... adds a little something something but the clothes speak for themselves.

Sweet Caraline!

Sometimes nothing is needed but the clothing. Single mannequin with the staircase lets the print speak for itself. Carolina Herrera in UES.

Project Help!

Micheal Kors... black and white is classic and very NYC -- however sometimes simple needs more -- the mannequins are spread apart apart too much and lack of a focal point -- maybe adding a prop like a large closed umbrella to complete a resort theme...

Who Crew?

J Crew's Women's Collection store at 79th Street. Clean, Simple and fresh flowers...nice

Tara, Tara, Tara!

Now that the Ralph Lauren store on the 80th Street is all Women's until the new store on 72nd street opens... their windows reflect the feminine side... right from a southern plantation, shutters, vines and and vases. The electric fans add a great realistic touch, although the seated mannequin looks like she slipped off her base.

A 1/5 of Valentino

Valentino's Spring / Summer collection at Sakes Fifth Avenue. Fun! Love the lighted bustforms... and bonus points for no electrical wires showing!

Model T Ford

From the man who creates such fashion history...his windows are always a little lacking. Nothing ever will compare to the Holiday windows from a few years past ... while simple and very crisp, nothing here to write home about.

The Beginning

The first bustform I ever dressed was a Ralph Lauren form, so it is only fitting that the first post is Ralph. Windows at the mansion -- always classic. Not the best this windows this year, but makes the point that Men's is only at the mansion and Women's has moved up the street.
