A long time ago...

Oh Bloomingdales why are your windows so ugly!! You are not Barney's. A nice tribute to the 30th anniversary of Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back. The posters homage is nice -- but the the mannequins trying to be hip with lasers and lightsabers -- ugh -- a tee-shirt wall with the cutouts would have be much more impactful.

Nothing squared...

I like the windows at Hermes. Just don't understand the squares. I get that the scarf is on a clothes line and has one on it etc etc ... oh well i do like it.

Happy Birthday...

Barney's CO OP celebrates 25 years and Big Daddy congrats with a window. Love the blue CO OP mannequins making an appearance.

Little brown boxes

Tod's footwear windows at Barney's -- always crazy and fun -- I believe the head in the window was used a few Christmas' ago- nice way to recycle !

When the Saints go marching...

I just like the mannequins in the St John's window. Love the hair -- so many windows with mannequin hair again!

Take once Daily ...

WWD - Women's wear Daily celebrates 100 years and Bergdorf creates a window. In the BG style-- always classy !

Anyone want to go riding?

Simple and clean window from Salvatore Ferragamo. I like the way the graphic, the mannequins and the pedestals all work together and tell one complete story.

Autumn Bounty

Fun window from Crate and Barrel. Gets you in the Autumn spirit.

Where's the party...

oh Gap ... once in a while you hit it, most of the time you don't. Ribbons made into streamers for denim...maybe the holiday windows will be good.

I love, I love, I love my Calendar ...window

Clever!! and fun. So plain and simple and I love -- this has a little Barney's type window humor -- a little fun for Bergdorf. Look at the little details: January - Baby statue; February - Washington and Lincoln portraits; March - a fan; April - a faucet pouring water; May - a portrait of Whistler's mother; June - a wedding cake; July - apple pie and r/w/b hat; August - a garden gnome; September - school book; October - a crystal skull; November - stuffed turkey; December - a Santa

G is for "goof"...

Doesn't matter how much money is spent on the window, details matter. Here is Fifth Avenue Gucci stores take on the Gucci online window posted many weeks ago from the Madison store -- a more flagship design -- except the big white plug in the middle of window for the iPad...

New York state of mind...

A few plasmas, some jewerly, and some great little wallets... the windows at Tiffany's

When Snow is spelled with a "C"

Chanel -- and a snowy wonderland -- with live falling snow! Bergdorf never disappoints...

Off to the races...

As always Juicy Couture shows us what a flagship looks like...
