Put your lips together...

Burberry creates a window to tie in to their wed based KISS campaign. Several lenticular images of lips are used; as you move around the window they "pucker"  - clever for the KISS based window. Just wish the images were in frames instead of just hanging.  Get your lips ready...

Jurassic clutch...

Louis Vuitton creates an amazing summer display looking like a scene from the Museum of Natural History.  Large dinosaur bones, coated in gold plate run amuck in the windows - carrying those famous handbags in their mouths and their boney wrists. This window is so creative -- the bag placement is perfect and the mannequins add a perfect aspect for the couture. Great use of the height of these windows with the placement of a mannequin up high and the framework and the little runt of a dino above his big brother.  Jurassic Park is near...

Butterflies are free...

The glass entrance of Bergdorf Goodman on 58th street, showcases the latest handbags and uses butterflies to help.  Silk butterflies are attached on the glass, the bags and the walls. Love the little details with them around the open window.  So simple but a great impact for summer.  Use a bag, not a net ....

Under the boardwalk...

A great summer window from Henri Bendel.  Love the special details of these windows: the sand, the beach grass, the wood planks on the wall and floor. Great composition of the bags, towels and beach accessories.  Let's hit the beach...

A mighty woman with a torch...

Tiffany's creates a beautiful tribute to the re-opening of the Statue of Liberty. Red, white and Blue bunting add the perfect frame around these Americana windows.  Love every detail - the birds eye view of the island with a diamond torch; the large close up of her face with a diamond used for the corner of her eye; a torch surrounded with beautiful star necklaces. A special treat is a copy of the original engraved invitation from the original dedication. O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave...

Let down your hair ...

Bergdorf Goodman creates a hair raising new window.  Set against a black background, the beautiful couture is placed on mannequins with Rapunzel like hair. I love the fun the window offers but the words spelled out on the wall in hair are very hard to read.  Instead of using phases or mutli words, one strong word would have been better to comprehend. or maybe have the words on the floor of the window to be able to read them more clearly on the wall made of hair...
