Ralph Lauren creates a great January transition window. Using wood blocks for a backdrop, this simple window looks great and makes the apparel and mannequins take the "platform" No knots here...

Love and lace...
The start of the Valentine season, and lets start with the lingerie! For Vicky's, a nice window: three simple forms and the tag line ( and no light box!). The center entry display looks great, nice composition and balance with the bust forms. although the large lighting element does not hurt. Fun large heart prop. Lace it up!...
And a cherry on top...
The Louis Vuitton window at Bloomingdales. Love this cupcake. Designed well - perfect frosting -not looking to fake - this is a great prop. The hangbag as a cherry is perfect and love the "real" cherry is on the floor. So "sweet"...
Mentor someone...
Bloomingdales celebrates National Mentor month with a great community window using artwork from students and a few mannequins. I love how the kids mannequins are holding artwork tying the whole window together. Go mentor someone, make a difference!!

Everything's coming up roses...
Ralph Lauren's Children's windows: Bright, bold, and oh so cute! Using artist canvas painted with bold roses surrounded by wicker chairs and colorful vases creates the perfect backdrop for the new spring fashion in madras plaids and khakis. Looks like "Everything's coming up sunshine..."
French Flair Espace...
A very detailed window from Miu Miu. Looking like a room with French accents, I love how the accessories in the room: the "pillows" made from handbags; or the "art piece" made from the shoe and the orange handbag above! C'est Magnifique!

Tropical blizzard...
Ralph Lauren takes the chill out of winter and transports us to a Spring tropical oasis. Breaking away from a more classical approach, large oversize palms leaves in white add that starkness of winter white, but is broken by the bright colors of Spring. This window works because of the huge oversize contrast of the plant leaves and large vases and props with the mannequins. Interesting use of colored glass with pulsating light to create the pool water. Ralph does go a little bold with the topless mannequin. Spring forward!
Hate when that happens...
Reed Karkoff returns to their classic window layout of shelves of assorted handbags, but this time not only has a form been added, a little joke has been added as well. The form's handbag has spilled open and all it's contents have fallen out. How convenient that they fall so uniformly and are the perfect accessories that any handbag should contain! Its in the bag...
It's raining red rabbits...
There is always a touch of whimsy in the windows from Lanvin. Rows of red rabbits flank the top hat suited mannequins. Throw in an umbrella for fun, and there is another classic window!
Ah Bonsai ...!
Big and bold, the latest window from David Yurman. The silver Bonsai Tree makes the winter chill of January hit home. Love how clean and simple this window is, but still makes a huge impact with the size of this tree. Treetastic!

Year of the Dragon...
Bergdorf Goodman celebrates the Chinese New Year in the windows on 58th Street. Creating the most amazing windows with Dragons cut out of paper!! Every detail, every tooth, every spine, and a lace / lattice backdrop that is just as amazing as the Dragons. The perfect last detail is all the paper cut outs are lying on the window floor... Oh and there are a few mannequins to add a little couture into the mix. Roarrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
