Bergdorf Goodman salutes the New York Historical Society re-opening after a three year restoration. I love that Bergdorf's is always involved in NYC activities and always has a window for the community. The paintings are on loan for the window from the society. History lesson...

Pass a plate...
Club Monaco has their formula down for how they display the props on the wall. This month it is plates! Always creative, clean and full of impact. Love how the plates have a few winter themes displayed; perfect for as the Fall season as it changes into Winter. Pass it plate!...
Mr Ford on Fifth...
Bergdorf Goodman introduces their newest boutique: Tom Ford on the second floor. Bad fuzzy pics but I love how the windows mimic the Tom Ford store on Madison. I really love the mannequin laying on the floor. Always sexy from Mr. Ford!...
Capture the glow...
Uniqlo Fifth Avenue is open. The use of digital media is everywhere; especially used behind the mannequins as a background and in the Fifth Avenue windows that are attached to the elevators. The mannequin bases are all on turntables to present a 360 view of the latest fashion. Hats off that all the turntables are synced to turn at the same time. Glowing!!!
Face in the glass...
Dior Men's placed a clear vinyl graphic of a Man's face in a fedora. Behind the man's eye is a plasma displaying the latest in Dior digital media. Love the contrast of the shadows of the graphics and the black and white imagery of the plasma. Nice media window...
October Trunk...
Micheal Kors for October. Since the MK formula is always the same -- three mannequins clustered by collection / color story... here is October!

String me along ...
Anthropologie uses multi color string and creates "weaves" of art. One set of windows uses pink string stretched across the backdrop and captures a few stray newspapers in its yarn. The blue windows weaves the strings thru the trees and my favorite is the wall of string made from bricks wrapped in the warm hues of string. Love the string from the ceiling that wraps into the wall. String me up!
Fashion Polaroids...
Gucci's October windows uses large Polaroid cut offs that display the looks of Fall. Great mannequin styling and great composition for the accessories clusters. I love the huge face duratran image. Great impact. Say Gucci!
Curtain up...
Henri Bendel: red Curtain, red paint - and jewelry forms -- can't be more simple, but what a nice production. The barn door on the lighting is a great detail. Places!

Watch out...
Tiffany's makes it look so simple: a detailed background a few displays of product - in this case their Gallery watch collection, and a few props. The result a beautiful window that represents the Tiffany brand. Just "watch" and learn...
Take off the mask...
Bergdorf Goodman continues their Halloween mask windows, but now on the Fifth Avenue side. This time the small masks are used as the template and four sheet prints were created and hung four per window; add some great couture fashion and BOO! its Halloween.
