A Vogue idea...

A window for Diane von Furstenburg. A few mannequins and some cubes - so so -- but what I love is the letter from Vogue. A little piece of history...

Welcome home...

And here is the Bloomies hit... a fun set of windows introducing Diane von Furstenburg's Home Collection. Nice mix of home and RTW.

Scarf...ruff...ruff

Always a hit and miss with Bloomies windows... a here is a miss. This window is certainly driving a commercial initiative, but couldn't it look better? It reminds me of Multiples from the late 80's UGH!

A rose by any other name...

It's not a window... but great a public art exhibit on Park Avenue for the new few months. Will Ryman's The Roses. A burst of Spring in midtown!

Celebrate the past...

With all the windows in NYC celebrating new collections, Chinese New Year, President's Day, Fashion Week etc.. it is interesting that Bloomies is the only one that I have seen celebrating Black History Month. Here is the window on 59th street.

Into the dressing room...

With simple windows next door, these are full of props, collections, and fun...

Grab me a seat...

Spring Collection windows. A window with cushioned seats ( a mock Fashion Week?)... how simple but how elegant.

Girls on Film...

Windows for Fashion week. A little unusual for graphic based windows at Barney's, but they put their own twist on them.

Happy Birthday Abie Baby...

President's Day windows are BG on the 58th Street side. Love the neon Mount Rushmore. The framed prints are bandannas from past Presidential campaigns. Happy Birthday!

Full of air...

Balloon animals have certainly become art, Jeff Koons has proved that. BG windows are certainly interesting and art work within themselves.

The suits are comming...

I love the simplicity of this window. Old school display reminiscence of haberdasher merchandising.

Hung up...

Wooden hangers, paper and some creativity. Always amazing. Anthro's Rockefeller Center door.

A faded Bloom...

Twenty years ago, department stores created huge window devoted for the launch of a new fragrance. Time has changed. This is a sad little window for a new perfume. The bottles on the floor are too low beyond the consumers eyes. Why didn't they use a few risers or pedestals?

Choc full of love...

Godiva on Fifth Avenue. Great wrap on the store front and fun windows made of chocolate. Although a great quote, is it not a bit odd of all the words of love that have been written they are using a quote from Dr. Seuss?
