Tiffany's creates adorable detailed loved themed windows for Valentine's Day. A whimsical telephone with hearts falling out of the receiver; bees in love flying through the city; the cute cute cute cats having a snuggle; the pups out to dinner ( look at the little chandelier that lights up); a box of some great love candy- all focusing on the beautiful Tiffany jewelry. Each window is a detailed work of art - all with a pink background! Made with love...

Wang-tastic!...
Bergdorf Goodman released the creative flow to Alexander Wang for the celebration of designer's take over of the first floor Luxe Room and sneaker-themed pop up on the 5F floor. Wang's Sprin, sneaker inspired collection, in addition to the presentations in store, also include two of the Fifth Avenue windows. For the first time the famous store plays with some tech inspiration with Wang's bar code logo projected on the buildings side. The two windows are black and white themed "sneakerhead" rooms: Black in basketball themed; and White in tennis inspired. Love all the details from the white rackets to the black lizards in a tank ( look at the white cat on his back!) Throughout the windows are the graphic logo of the barcode. No code red here ...

2014 Holiday in the City...
The Holidays are gone, and the décor is packed away. The windows of New York are one of the magic times in the city - here is my summery of the best of the season:
...Brilliant idea to take the classic fairytales and make them New York City! Love the stories - Cinderella with shoes; Sleeping Beautify in the city that doesn't sleep, Rapunzel with her hair dresser...
FAVORITE NUMBER ONE
Saks Fifth Avenue...Brilliant idea to take the classic fairytales and make them New York City! Love the stories - Cinderella with shoes; Sleeping Beautify in the city that doesn't sleep, Rapunzel with her hair dresser...
FAVORITE NUMBER TWO
...Each window depicts a New York scene with beautiful Tiffany jewelry tucked into the display. Incredible use of video and animation; video scenes, moving billboards, jumping cabs, flickering fire. Special note for the window with two men and their child...
FAVORITE NUMBER THREE
...Santa in space; visiting the planets; elves; telescopes! Who could ask for anything more - love the ice fight between Neptune and Uranus and mini NYC with the Macy's Parade...
FAVORITE NUMBER FOUR
...Creating a style of 20's glamor, Ralph creates a winter visit to the Roaring timeframe. Clean, simple and deco - silver and snow creates the perfect back drop for the beautiful white fashions of the season..
FAVORITE NUMBER FIVE
...This year Holiday revolves around The Arts. The main windows: Literature, with the bold red fabric motif; Architecture of blue - just like blueprints; Theatre - with amazing neon; Painting - in white, just waiting for color to be added...
AND MY LEAST FAVORITE
...In theory the idea sounds good - create a video game app that the consumer can log into and play the game on the LED screens in the windows. The reality was in observation no one was playing...

Who lived in a shoe ...
Large hollow cut outs of footwear, fragrance and handbags are the latest in the windows of Salvatore Ferragamo. Inside each display the attest in Spring and little latters and balconies take you from level to level. Great creative way to showcase the collections in a new display twist creating fun interest. I really like the hand forms showing off the pocketbooks adding some great height and works well with the gold and glimmer. He "did" know what to do...
Winter resort ...
Looking like a boutique hotel on the water, the windows at Henri Bendel focus on the handbags of Spring. Nice fresh look with the blue and white color story and the louvers and the palm tree add a nice refreshing touch. Bag it up..

Portrait of an artist...
Looking like a set from a movie, the windows at Polo Ralph Lauren are filled with so many details. Layers of props, furniture, accessories and Spring fashion create a series of amazing artist studios. Simplistic in nature, it is these layers of detail that create the depth and storytelling to create this world. Nothing to paint over ...
This is for the eye,,,
Anthropologie as always, creates an amazing hand crafted window. Showcasing a painting within each window - then recreating it in a cubism style. Close-up it appears as a painting of squares, but from the distance it forms into the painting showcased. Brilliant ! Stroke of the brush...
