Winter resort ...

Looking like a boutique hotel on the water, the windows at Henri Bendel focus on the handbags of Spring.  Nice fresh look with the blue and white color story and the louvers and the palm tree add a nice refreshing touch. Bag it up..

A crazy little window from Henri Bendel - so much going on, but somehow its fun - windows, tree branches, wreaths, rock walls , topiaries, handbags, accessories, makeup, jewelry, home, snow globes .. whew!!   but the little stuffed mice at the gates are adorable.  Where's the gardener...?

 

 

Under the boardwalk...

A great summer window from Henri Bendel.  Love the special details of these windows: the sand, the beach grass, the wood planks on the wall and floor. Great composition of the bags, towels and beach accessories.  Let's hit the beach...

 

Happy Bday, Mr. Bendal...

Henri Bendel celebrates their Birthday Bash. Using the famous brown and white stripes as a border and complementary brown, white and gold balloons, a few handbags are featured.  Not a fan of any balloon in a window, some of them had already lost air and the handbags are really hard to see against the background,  Blow out those candles...

 

 

Who loves a TeePee...?

When all else fails, create a tee pee. Interesting little window from Henri Bendel.  The handbags do not really relate to a tee pee to me, nor the stripes - but a little whimsy for Spring...

 

 

Swing into it ...

Henri Bendel's window for Valentine's.   A nice showcase for the Spring handbag season. Fun swing to use a prop for the season.  The oversize flowers are a nice touch, however i would love them to be big 3D paper then just a graphic.  Swing into Spring,,,!

 

 

Henri loves Anna

Henri Bendel pays tribute to NY Fashion Week and a nod to Anna Wintour.  Clean and simple: black chairs ready for the runway - and a perfect mannequin tribute looking like Anna.  Love the proportion of her and the trademark bob and glasses. Great little detail with swag bags under the chairs.  Ready for the runway...

Holiday in the City...

Celebrating all things New York for the Holiday, Henri Bendel creates some shows stopping windows. A giant Statue of liberty walking down the street ditching yellow cabs, walking her reindeer dog while dressed in a jellybelly dress...a miniature apartment with peek through windows that you can observe a models life of partying ( love the one dancing on the table and the mirrored view of the bath), and the mannequin Rockettes surrounded by lights and spinning in giant gold covered circles.  Start spreading the news!!

Curtain up...

Henri Bendel: red Curtain, red paint - and jewelry forms -- can't be more simple, but what a nice production. The barn door on the lighting is a great detail.  Places!

Paper layers...

A very detailed window from Henri Bendel. Incredible drawings and the layers are so detailed, I love that one layer is black and whitre and the others are color.  Notice the glitter as well. It looks like a set from a theatrical play. Curtain Up!!!!

Hand and Bags...

A new window showcasing the Fall assortment of handbags for Henri Bendel.  Cleaver use of the "hand" forms with clutches and jewerly.  Nice contast of the wood panels and orange floor.

An adorable window at Henri Bendel using ol' King Kong as a theme. The great ape covered in mirrored glass has climbed Bendel's this time and has taken some great handbags hostage. Don't worry, the planes are on the way. Ape-lause
