Knocking traditional silver and gold, Diesel creates a window based in silver and bronze. love the non traditional colors but it looks so holiday, especially with the over sized ornaments. Great touch with the mirror ball shattered on the floor ( a Diesel window tradition!)

Unraveling sweaters...
Gap, Gap, Gap --- really ?? From the horrible string art project " JOY" to the lights wrapped around a bicycle - some of the worst windows for 2011 -- and the worst part is - these are a corporate window package, so this nightmare was seen in 1500+ windows across the US. Now that is a Gap...
Couldn't be more simple...
Somethings it is as simple as a neon sign and a few mannequins. Zara's holiday windows. In one simple word ... nice!
White forest...
Common theme this year with white and forests, H & M creates a little winter wonderland with some snowy branches and my favorite, the white deers... cute.
Tiny bubbles...
In the past, the windows at Saks Fifth Avenue were a sight to see! Based off a book that was written as a tie in for the windows and a fund raising venue for St Jude's. This year there is a story... sorta...the Bubblemakers who live under the city... there are no fun little creatures, there are no great magical backdrops... instead we get several realistic mannequins dressed in high fashion couture ( that is what I think of when thinking about "bubblemakers"). A few props that are dressed with a cartoon-like facade. Oh well, maybe the bubbles next year will be better, but this year they POP!

Festival of lights...
Interesting display from Dolce and Gabbana. Looking like a winter carnival, lights are wraps around display towers; becoming both festive and creating a nice frame around the apparel. I like how boxes are used in the carts like they sell good at a festival, but are instead filled with high end DG products... clever!!
