Snow bumble ....

An adorable or an " abominable" snowman at Dolce and Gabbana, peferct to end winter with. Perfectly overly large to the space, and to the female mannequin he holds.  Love how she is holding her heels and her handbag by his feet - with perfect product placement.  No cold shoulder here ....

 

 

 

Heart of gold...

Dolce and Gabbana creates an over the top amazing valentine window.  Large mirrored jewel encrusted hearts in silver for men and gold for women's are perfect for the scale of the multi storied windows.  The red velvet drape add the depth as well as the multi sized hearts above the simple display of dress forms. Clean and simple. Not any hearts of glass...

 

 

Sewing lace...

A fun window full of a lot of props at Dolce and Gabbana. Looking like a seamstress just left the room,  lace mannequins surround the Spring fashion with piles of fabric in boxes with highlights of footwear.  I really like the black fixture as a backdrop with the female bustforms on the top shelf in "storage" I love the lace mannequin on the sewing machine - looking like a ghost of past seamstress helping the latest creations.  Sew, a needle pulling thread...

 

 

Mi Casa Es Su Casa...

I love the height of the large windows at Dolce and Gabbana, but not feeling connected with the huge house with the display forms.  I do like the perfectly themed table and chairs to display accessories, and how the bougainvillea crawls up the house grows across the building.  Great little detail with petals laying across the floor.  Get the shears...

 

 

Feast for the eyes...

A scene for the sugar plum fairies! A fun look at fashion surrounded by tons of deserts at Dolce and Gabbana.  This window could have been a confusing mess if there were less dessert displays - but the use of so many desserts, takes it over the top and creates a scrumptious delight.  What a sugar high...

 

 

The littlest angel...

Beautiful classic angelic window at Dolce and Gabbana.  A great use of these tall windows with scale and height.  Love the great contrast of the porcelain white cherubs and the red velvets drapes and the gold ribbons. Angels we have heard on high...

 

I have no strings...

A fun whimsical window from Dolce and Gabbana using a puppet theatre as a theme.  So clever, a very detailed stage and jacket hanging in the middle -- does not get simpler than that, but the result is adorable.  Careful details to how the garment hangs to give a puppet illusion,  and the detail of the stage with the curtains and the nice touch of the little lights on the edge. Pinocchio would be proud!...

 

Life is like a box of ...

Dolce and Gabbana's simple little window. Love the textured box, with a play on a box of chocolates but hangbags --  cleaver!!  love the pattern of the box, perfect for the dark tones of the DG stores in general. Pass the box...

 

 

Holiday reruns...

Was money tight at Dolce and Gabbana this year?   The holidays windows are a repeat of last year's windows.  Was not really excited about them last year, and really not excited this time around.  Maybe the remodel of the space with give us new window next year...

 

Festival of lights...

Interesting display from Dolce and Gabbana.  Looking like a winter carnival, lights are wraps around display towers; becoming both festive and creating a nice frame around the apparel.  I like how boxes are used in the carts like they sell good at a festival, but are instead filled with high end DG products... clever!!

Bags and ribbons...

This is so simple!  Dolce and Gabbana placed a black rolling rack in the window, and hung handbags and footwear with ribbon from the bar. Great way to showcase without and lot of bells and whistles.

Trunk show...

A trunk, a rolling rack, and a few boxes:  clean, simple and white. I love the big trunk filled with footwear and that everything is white, a nice Spring window from DG.

The suits are comming...

I love the simplicity of this window. Old school display reminiscence of haberdasher merchandising.
