Wreath it up ...

I have mixed opinions of these holiday Cole Haan windows. The main windows are overbearing with wreaths - hard to focus if wreaths are being sold or footwear. A little editing would have help.  Might be old fashion but not really feeling the diamond shaped wreaths, they look like they are just bent out of space.   I do like the secondary windows - so much simpler with the wood boxes and the single wreath. Too much of a green thumb...

Birds of a feather...

Beautiful windows at Anthropologie Rock Center.  All the birds are created with paper- using different fabrics, textures and patterns -  so amazing, so creative, so holiday! Don't fly away ...

Tied with a bow...

Louis Vuitton created a limited edition Monogram line designed by six iconolasts: Christian Louboutin, Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Newson, Rei Kawakubo. Each window highlights each special design. Simple window, I wish there was a little more emphasis on each designer - however on the other hand, this collection sold out quickly and each window had the vinyl removed and LV collections replaced the designers. City sidewalks, busy sidewalks...

One of my favorite windows of the season!!! Using print ads, digital media and the windows; all tied together in a perfect execution of branding and retail. Each window depicts a New York scene with beautiful Tiffany jewelry tucked into the display.  Incredible use of video and animation; video scenes, moving billboards, jumping cabs, flickering fire. Special note for the window with two men and their child.  For the first time, Tiffany's covered the building in a special light show of sparkling jewels ( wish that was a little more muted to ties to the softer windows below). It's Christmastime in the city...

Crown jewels...

Repeating the same building lights from past years, but Harry Winston adds to the Holiday spirit on Fifth Avenue. Light the way...

Into the woods...

Amazing simple window at Club Monaco flagship in Flatiron.   So simple -- some flocked braches and powered snow - and a winter wonderland.   Beautiful!!  This could have had a lot more added - ribbon, ornaments, packages etc. -- but this clean simple "cave like" display is perfect.  The background lighting adds a perfect touch or depth.  And through the woods...

The littlest angel...

Beautiful classic angelic window at Dolce and Gabbana.  A great use of these tall windows with scale and height.  Love the great contrast of the porcelain white cherubs and the red velvets drapes and the gold ribbons. Angels we have heard on high...
