Swirls of the season...

Fun, grass roots windows from Top Shop. MDF board cut in wide swirls painted white add a great dimension for the windows. The fashion forward mannequins mixed with -in complete the look. Top Holiday!...

Yes, Virginia...

Macy's at Herald Square changed out their traditional vintage window of "Miracle on 34th Street" and replaced it this year with windows that are a tie-back to the animated cartoon "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus"  Capturing the spirit of the old holiday window style with little movable figures - this is a cute little set of windows -- although truth be told - I do miss the Miracle windows...

Up on the rooftop...

You never know when Santa might be a her, or at least be someone who enjoys a great a pair of heels.  Santa's heels are stuck in the chimney.  Great little roof top trimmed in lights and the sack of presents dropped on the roof, spilling down... simple, clean and a great way to highlight the famous red soled footwear...

Snowy day...

I love how each Anthroplogie door creates a different window. This window is from the Chelsea Market location.  Using a blower and Styrofoam balls; an incredible snow scene is created. The "swirling" snow blows over the piano and is recycled back.  Love all the snow globes on the piano top and how they are buried in the white stuff.  Happy Holidays!

Ice "McQueen"...

Beautiful frock and window from Alexander McQueen.  I wish the gate was not down for the photos. So simple: a dress, a backdrop and a chandelier that complements. Love the details of jewels on the manniquin's face - something not being in done in the city windows.  Perfect!!

Walking the handbag...

As always a great clever window from Moschino. Large plexi gift boxes with legs are out for a walk with their little cute handbag... hope the bag is potty trained!

Want a cup of...?

Remember fun, crazy Christmas decorations from the 70's made from paper cups? Diane von Furstenburg creates a fun great window using paper cups and mirrors. Love the spheres and the wall of cups - the neon tag adds a nice holiday signature!
