Temple of love...

I love this heart themed window at Diane von Furstenburg.  The use of columns and mannequins could have be just a simple window anywhere; but the use of hand drawn hearts as graffiti it an adventure of whimsical creative fun.  I love the different textures, use of pink and the DVF layered in. The graffiti is also used in control, it could have become an overpowering mess. I "heart" this...

On everyone's lips...

Love is Holiday ... the theme of windows from Diane von Furstenburg.  I love how this window feels un-holiday-ish this window , yet feels fresh  for holiday.  The large 3D DV letter and the great use of different size and color neon lips especially on the ceiling to add depth to the very squared space.  My lips are sealed!...

Want a cup of...?

Remember fun, crazy Christmas decorations from the 70's made from paper cups? Diane von Furstenburg creates a fun great window using paper cups and mirrors. Love the spheres and the wall of cups - the neon tag adds a nice holiday signature!

Frame it up...

Groovy window from Diane von Furstenburg. Frames and retro 70's mannequins, then add the painted canvas that matches the angle of the mannequin to continue the picture... Now that's art!

Curvatures...

Take a print from a swimsuit; reproduce into a 2D graphic; cut out a second print and lay the second print onto the first print -- and instant 3D and a great summer window from DVF.  Love the sexy styling on the mannequins.

Red, Read and Text

An apple a day...

I do not get it... apples in September, feels more like a Back to School Theme, the ladders, the mannequin poses...the Dr. was needed for this one.
