Gold leaf...

The latest from Coach --  I'm not really a big fan of this one -- usually I like their simple windows that are always clean and focused.  This one is a little boring: The flowers look old and left over from a float.

Sound Off...

With construction still on-going at the Hermes store, the windows have been opened for view again. A nice window with some great fashion... but it is the addition of hundreds of brass rods that when they hit against each other, they create a soothing musical sound. Small mic/ speakers placed in the corners of the window let you hear the sound on the street. Music to the ears.

Bringing out the War Horse...

A salute to the Lincoln Center Broadway production of the play War Horse.  Simple window, nothing too exciting, I do like the sketches of the horses on the walls and glass. (The play is incredible!)

A book by it's cover...

Side windows on 58th Street. A standard BG window: multiple props on the wall in repetition, but as always they do it the best.

Beauty has...

Barney's celebrates Allure magazine. Great over the top bustform, little details for accents ( the makeup accessories) and many layers of media ( Allure magazine).  Tie it all together with a fabulous quote and a text book Barney's window!!

Blue Man group...

I've been trying to get clear pics of these windows for a few weeks.  The mannequins are made of a clear resin with blue LED lights inside -- giving a fun blue glow.  Something fun and different.

Another opening...

Micheal Kors opens his new store on Madison.  The displays are super simple, clean and coordinated, but this looks like any of the Kors stores in any mall... nothing special especially for a new store on the Avenue!
