Welcome 2011, 2010 in the "bag"...

Although not explicitly clear, I believe these windows are celebrating Gucci's 90th anniversary, since it was founded in 1921. The history of the handbags is interesting, although doesn't the backdrop look like Tiffany blue?

Cruise time!...

Grab your bags... in the old world of fashion, that period of late December to January was the time the jet set headed off to somewhere warm. Designers created their "cruise" lines to be a pre spring teaser and allowed for warmer wear fashions to be revealed. Dior shows off some skin in their windows -- now where is the sun block...

Ring in the year..

Burberry's first window for 2011 -- it's OK -- hopefully the simpleness is more from changing from Holiday and not a glimpse of the upcoming year...

Happy 2011!!!

Happy New Year... and Coach does a great job to welcome in the year...

Silver and gold...

Outside of Gucci on Fifth Avenue -- Trump Tower never sparkled so much...

Tied up with a bow...

Tommy Hilfiger store on Fifth Avenue... yes -it speaks holiday-- it's just so-so.

Circle in the square...

Holiday at my local frame store Acanthus and Reed -- simple and does the trick-- unfortunately the picture does not give justice to how each ornament shines and sparkles .
