Vertigo wood...

Prada creates a great forced perspective windows using beautiful wood grained panels on the diagonal with a nice checker board floor.   Creating a natural flow of movement, ending with a lightbox and in some cases, a LED screen, drawing the eye to focus on the elegant dressed mannequins, handbags or accessories.  Hold onto the rail...!

Accessorize me...

Prada for Holiday.  Basic window - nothing to exciting,  however the composition of all the accessories is beautiful. Well balanced, thoughtfully arranged and perfect for gift giving.  Old school visual accessories merchandising at its best.  Ring me up...

Riding thru the snow...

Prada uses the props from Fall and adds a Winter touch.  A snow mobile with a style fabulous snow bunny with incredible fur accessories. I love how the airplane wall from Fall was lifted higher and become a backdrop to the mannequin cluster.  I just wish that snow was added to the airplane window to tie the two windows together...

Take flight...

Prada is using the old style of air travel as a theme. The window sections of old vintage airplane is the used as the  backdrop and steamer trucks and luggage are used as pedestals. This window is very clean and focused.  Love the use of all the styling for the accessories and footwear. Now boarding...

In the windowpane...

Prada goes '60s retro again.  Windowpane prints on the apparel and great chunky footwear.  The graphic in the back completes the look.  Groovy.

Now boarding...

The newest from Prada.  The plexi cut out on the back wall is laser cut and 3D. It makes a great contrast to the leather goods on display. Very 50s air travel.

Such a fan...

Still digging the 1940's hairstyle on the Prada mannequins. A vintage fan is added ( and the blades turn!) and we are whisked away to another time. I love that the clutch is placed under the mannequins arm -- a simple great little detail.

One, two, cha cha cha...

Burst of color with Prada. Been there, seen that with the plexi cut outs. I do like the bright colors, and I really love the vintage hair style, the big shades and the coat! Ole'

If the Frame fits...

It's the frames that make this simple window. Grab your suit for a Holiday party.

Busy little BEE(hives)

Keeping the trend of wigs on mannequins this season. LOVE the big beehive hair!! Another great example with taking a boring graphic, adding a few props and great product. Fun Prada Madison Avenue windows.

Garden of Earthly Delights...

The Prada windows on 5th avenue -- left over from Fashion Night Out -- but ooh so great -- a little something for everyone here. I love the male mannequin in a unitard.

With a capital P

Sometimes a hit, sometimes a miss. This time a hit. I like the vignette of the loose footwear and handbags. The beach scene has you thinking that she dropped it all to run to the beach. Love the hats with the dresses. and once again some hair!
