No two alike...

Oh Asprey what has happened?  2011 was so the year of the bad windows for you...looking like a art project from one of the preschools, gift boxes are arranged on the walls in snowflake patterns. This could have been impressive if the snowflakes were 5 -12 feet across and there were a lot of them, just not one per window. It just comes across flat.  I do like the holiday trim on the edge of the glass. Hopefully Spring will come early to melt these away...

Moulin Christmas...

Looking a little like the musical Chicago, Lanvin takes a twist to Holiday with stacked gold chairs and their white mannequins ( this time with out their facial expressions ). Details are always here; the boxes on the floor, the red ribbon ties, the red hat, the simple string of white lights... always love each inventive way these windows tell their story!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...

Every Holiday Donna Karen goes over the top with big holiday greens and florals.  This year the tradition continues - huge tree flocked in white, with the perfect amount of red balls; over the top centerpiece highlighting Donna Karen home; and packages in red and silver to tie it all together. So white, so icy, so winter wonderland!

Made well for the holiday...

Great window from Madewell, celebrating more of the party part of the holiday.  The main windows are full the mini party poppers in gold and silver that add great depth and adds a twist to hanging garland -- perfect for holiday entertaining.  The side window has the great neon.  I wish the neon was in the main window and the gold windows were to the side. But festive none the less...

Porsche's purple presentation...

Porsche's retail store on Madison created a fun little Holiday window. Using purple as the theme, large hollow purple ornaments showcase the gifts of the season. Love the little purple / silver  wrapped boxes. Vroom, Vroom...

String lights hung with care...

Take a few light strings, hang them across the window, and this simple display becomes Club Monaco's Holiday windows.  It does not get any easier and so impactful!

Then how the reindeer loved him...

A beautiful window, looking like a work of art; the windows at Ermenegildo Zegna. I love the layers of the silver reindeer and the light blue lights on each.  So classic, elegant and perfect for the winter Holiday.
