Paul Stuart uses an old idea "plaid for fall" and adds a great twist. Using oversize cutouts hand painted with a plaid designs: trees, dogs, leaves and apples. Love how the mannequin sits on the big plaid apple. Big and bold -- and plaid-tastic!!

Fall symphony...
Great window from Paul Stuart. Using musical instruments as the focus to showcase Fall footwear and accessories. Great use of a "bow" for a prop to wrap the leatherr goods around. Love how pages of music are used as leaves, not only telling a great story for music but for Fall. It's music to my eyes!!

The Haunted Brownstone...
Incredible display at a Brownstone on 72nd Street and Madison. So clever, so scary, so Halloween!!! Love the possessed jester marionette! Scream!
The red sole...
Barney's celebrates the release of the new book celebrating Christian Louboutin. The spiked heel in ice; the red head with her mane of curls contrasting with several spinning heels showing the infamous "red sole"; a glass platform where the footwear moves by magnets on a track; and a deserted office with heels walking out the door. Impactful displays for the impactful designer!! Heart and Sole!!
Colored sqaures and triangles...
Coach for November uses white, pink, blue and pink squares or is it triangles to background the Fall collection. Black and White NYC framed photographs add a nice contrast the handbags and accessories. A nice clean transition window to holiday.

A winter thought...
Bergdorf Goodman's Men's Store windows showcase the Fall fashion for winter apparel and accessories. A great mannequin thinking about a winter outfit - i love how the little detail like a watch perfectly fits inside the "thought bubbles". The " have a seat" window, with every kind of chair stacked with winter accessories -- love the chair that has old ripped fabric. A fun ying and yang window! Need some sheep? a great wool window, completed with an accessory carrying sheep for the season. No baahhhhhhhhhhhh here !!
