Fun springtime window at Derek Lam.    Love the "child-like" birds and trees to complement the latest in spring couture.  Nice that this is simple and clean with a few of our feathered friends and not a scene from The Birds...

 

 

Ray of light ...

Just in time for Spring, Dior creates a fun "artful" window using lighted tubes to frame their product. Nice use of design to create a nice background for the handbags and mannequins.  Light the way ...

Finally after six plus months, Asprey changes their windows.   While certainly nothing to gawk at, beautifully constructed although boring and simple boxes against a faux alligator skin.  Hopefully we will not see this window until next spring.  Exotic skins...

 

 

Suit and vine...

Interesting use of props at John Varvatos.  Certainly creating a nice pre-spring visual and bold and pleasing, confused if  the large white vines have some significance with made measure  ( if they were made of patterns or tape measures, I would get it  ) or are they just large props.   Regardless they frame the window and the suit forms nicely. Hermes creates a "stable-esqe" window for Spring.  Clean lines, simple and stark white make the footwear, accessories, apparel and hanbags pop out.  The beautiful realistic horse add a great flare and balance the collection.  I love the 3D LED lighted frame to the windows to add sophistication to the whole window. Ramp it up ...

A few angled ramps and Burberry creates the simplest window that is perfect for the Spring transition. Bright colors with a gloss finish create a nice backdrop for the mannequins layered with nice pops of color with scarves and accessories.  I really love the repetition with the triple mannequins and the breath o color available from the handbags.
